I offer counselling to individuals over the age of 18. Sessions are held via Zoom (other online platforms are available on request) so I can support you wherever you are in the UK.
Whatever is worrying you, counselling can help you to gain clarity, understand historical patterns and make positive changes. I specialise in helping people achieve self-acceptance.
My qualification is in pluralistic counselling. This means we choose the counselling approach guided by your needs and led by your wishes.
I am a member of the National Counselling Society (NCS) and adhere to their ethical framework.
There’s more about me here.
You may struggle with the effects of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bullying, abuse, or being a highly sensitive person (HSP) in a neuro-typical world.
We can look at thoughts, feelings and behaviours to ensure that your future choices are in line with your values.
The counselling process is led by you. It goes at your speed and you decide what to talk about.
The therapeutic relationship is a key factor in the counselling process.
We will work together to get you to where you want to be.
If you or another person are in need of emergency help, you can find a list of contacts here.
My web site introduces my counselling approach. A set of frequently asked questions (here) may help you understand more.
If you have any questions please get in touch via the contact form or on social media.
My thoughts on counselling and further information on specific counselling techniques are available on my blog. It would be great if you would read a post and leave a comment.
